I just bought an AMHA registered mare. (will be delivered in a few weeks) I want to get her hardshipped into AMHR before the end of the year for the half off price. Does anyone know what I have to do exactly? Is there any inspection or measuring since she is already registered wtih AMHA? Do I jsut have to send in pictures, copy of her AMHA papers and the fees?

Thanks!

You will need to copy her papers and take pictures. If you transfer her AMHA papers first you wont have to pay for a AMHR transfer. membership - $65, hardship fee mare or gelding - $100, register mare over 3 years old - $60. total price $225

My membership with AMHR is still good thru the end of the year so that cuts out that expense. She is only two, so will be a bit lower too. Unfortunately my AMHA membership ends at the end of Sept so I will have to renew that.

Thanks!

Marsha
