Grullo/Grulla

I really like the colour Grulla/Grullo (is this correct spelling?) and was wondering if anyone had any pics to share. Its not a colour i see often i minis, but I would like to see what there is out there!

Well, I have 2 but don't have any good photos that show their color. It is one of my favorite colors. My one mare is due in a few weeks.

we think that Okapi is a grullo leopard, his mom was. it is hard to tell, I actually haven't seen a horse this color before!

Here is my 2005 grey-grullo stallion, Erica's Gone and DunIT. DunIT was AMHR National Top 10 (7th) in open halter and AMHA honor roll for halter. He's a grandson of both Ima Boones Little Buckeroo Too / "BTU" and Yellow Diamond Little Feather, and is a great grandson of Egyption King. He's a maternal brother to Ericas Smoke Rings In The Dark, Reserve National Champion. DunIT's sire is Erica's awesome stallion, Little Kings B T Buck Bandito. I'm just a little proud of my guy :bgrin

Here's our grulla varnish snow cap mare... She is in foal to our blue roan overoloosa stallion for his first foal for us! She's got the shoulder barring and the dark legs up to her hocks/knees, only thing that isn't visible is her dorsal stripe, which is hidden by her snow cap!
