I came across these pictures from the summer after a bath/clip and noticed the pics showed my mare's pink spots pretty well.

Thought it would be fun to try to guess what her coat might of been, if that is at all possible? Hope the pics show well, she has a little pink heart that is adorable.

We bought her last year, and later found out that she was in foal. Stud is a 31" solid black. We are anticipating the surprise in January, and then after this Mama will just enjoy her retirement from foaling!

Any Guesses?

I don't think they are Pinto at all, I think they are just a skin condition!

Sweet mare.

Rabbit may be right - there is a condition too that causes a loss of pigment in spots, have only seen it in a big horse or two.

Have to ask, where did you find your jump poles? Very cute.

It seems like a skin condition, thanks for the posts.

We made the jump poles from PVC pipe, and just spray painted them! They rotate in height with the end caps. Everything was purchased at Home Depot!
