First photoshoot of 2011

This morning I finally dug my camera out and decided it was time to stop procrastinating

So here is the first photoshoot of 2011...

The subject is our 6yo A/R chestnut tovero mare, considering we only have one photo of her as a 3yo, I figured it was time to get some more current photos. This mare has never been conditioned/sweated/shown/etc...she is just shown straight out of her pen, in pasture condition (she doesn't miss any meals either

). We bought this mare as a 2yo, and she just had her second foal, HMM Smokin Hot, a grullo colt.

I am in Collbran, Colorado...a small town in a valley with mountains surrounding all sides, very beautiful country up here. The mountain in the background is the Grand Mesa.
