My little dog keeps getting gunk in her eyes. I have washing them out with eye wash for the horses. It seemed to work well at first but now not so good. any suggestions.

IMHO any eye troubles need to see a vet. If there is a corneal abrasion the right meds are imperative.

I agree with Debs....If it's more than a little bit of "cleaning out" gunk, and you've flushed it. (We use human Saline Solution). And it hasn't cleared up, you should get a vet to make sure there isn't an abrasion.

If there's been an abrasion (scratch) to the cornea, the longer you wait the possibility of blindness raises its ugly head........Same goes for horses too......
