Co-owning a stallion

Does anyone co-own a stallion and would be willing to share their contract with me or at least what is covered by it? I'm going to be selling 1/2 interest in my few spot stallion and would like to head off trouble from the start. As least as much as possible.

I don't have a copy of a contract but I will shar ethis --

BE VERY CAREFUL!!!!!

I know of way too many instances where the contract is too loose and benefits one party over another. They're really flimsy and don't cover all of the "what ifs." Don't rush to sign something.

I'd try to get my hands on a Thoroughbred contract -- one that was professionally drawn up.
