I'm wondering if anyone ever answered your second question about the points. I believe that he start collecting points as a gelding and the stallion points just hang there. I would like to be wrong as I'm planning on gelding my stallion and with the rule that they have to have at least one championship by the end of the 2nd year, then the late gelded have no chance at HOF.

I think if he has stallion points and then is gelded the points do transfer.
