Has anyone heard how many exhibiters are expected compared to usual this year? Did the AMHR Nationals have as many as usual, or have they suffered because of gas costs?

You know I was wondering the same thing. With the economy being in the "tank" if the numbers at Nationals were up or down, and same with the World show.
My rider backed out on me, it seems. Don't know if I can do the drive by myself. I even have a lovely place to stay (and not a horse stall this year). I will be sooooo disappointed if I can't get there. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Maybe someone else will be traveling along your route Peggy. Where do you hail from? From us, for instance, it is a straight shot down on 35 Twin Cities to Fort Worth. We probably can't sqeeze anymore horses on, at least on the way there, but I am sure there are those who can!
