If a mares papers have been revoked from amha because she went over 34"(36.5)...can her foals still be registered with amha?

You can not register them AMHA as the dam is no longer registered AMHA. But, if the foals do not go over by the time they are 5, you can hardship them in. That is until 2013. The age may change to 3 years though this winter if it gets voted in.

Hardshipping at age 3 was voted in at the last convention, and will be effective on Jan. 1. If you are hardshipping in a gelding, the fee will be $200 as of Jan. 1.

Today I was thinking about hardshipping my amhr yearling into amha when she turns 5.

She is a small girl....and don't expect her to go over 33".

Question: Do I now only have to wait til she turns 3? I thought I'd have to wait til she's 5.

So are A horses going permanent too at age three or is that still staying at age five? I guess I am confused and not keeping up with things lately.
