Just for the record, there is EVERY way a pregnant mare will allow a stallion to breed her, sometimes right up to the point of delivery.

It is not normal, it is not safe and it is not advised, but it IS possible!!!!!

I honestly wonder about some Vets, I really do!!

That mare is definitely in foal. Look at that lop-sided belly! Waiting to hear what the vet said...
 
First off, I had a mare with a false pregnancy 3 years ago. She produced milk, had a lopsided belly an the whole bit but wasn't pregnant. I was pretty upset when I found out too. lol. Then last year I had another mare go 387 days and then foal out a big healthy filly! Guaranteed dates too. This year she is 357 days so far and doesn't look like she will go any time soon. So glad I sold her! lol. But I feel bad for my friend that bought her. tee hee. Please keep us updated on your girl. Here was my Peach during her false pregnancy.
