Okay, I can't help it...it just grosses me out. I have heard people say it serves some purpose for the foal?? Do your foals do it? It seems some of my foals focus on it more than others. But I see they all seem to do it. I have never had an ill foal, so it must not hurt them. Just share...

No fire ants...snow here. "other Places" are head, lower belly, legs. Really itchy and aggitated, then has a short 1 or two minutes very still period. If it were just vulva bumping and rubbing I would not be concerned. Guess time will tell.

Bumping again...still having the trouble. Double checked, no hives, no breathing problems, but no imminent foaling signs either....she's focusing on the vulva but itchy elsewhere too. Please help if you have ever seen this with foaling?

This is an unexpected deal...owner is begging me to purchase mare...she had a stroke and is blind and cannot foal her out....due April 1st!!! Would just like to know the background pedigree so I know what I am thinking about here....and past foals if its not too much trouble? I was ordering...
