I have an opportunity to purchase some round bales. I've never fed them before but having them would make everything a bit easier especially when I go on vacation. Does anyone here feed them. Do you use a feeder? I know there are risks with round bales so I'm weighing the options.

Haflingers can definitely carry 160 pounds all day long. My stocky mare is only 14.2 and I've hill topped with her and gone on long trail rides and she's held up better than some of the breeds known for endurance. My gelding is a bit larger at just 15 hands and he can carry my 200 pound husband...

Haflingers. I have 2 and they are wonder all around horses. I trained one myself and he was so so easy. The other one came to us finished and she's my daughters pony. I find Haffies to be unflappable in any situation.

I have one and love it. The walkout makes storing things like a lawnmower so easy. We move all of the summer things out of the garage as winter comes and simply roll them into the basement. Couldn't be easier.

Champ, I've never been to their Frost Bite Series. My mare wasn't ready last year. I spent all winter in lessons with Mary though and she's fantastic. I just got a pony mule who is 3 and I'd like to teach him to drive as he's the perfect size.
