I have a mini gelding that has had some training but not in a LONG time. So I've been looking for a trainer near me b ut have had little luck. I live 40 mins from St. Paul, MN and 10 mins from Riverfalls, WI. Could anyone suggest someone?

I was wondering how leg chains/leg weights help your horse. Do you put them on and give them a cue to lift there legs so when you show them they associate the cue to lift more or do the just start to lift their legs more all the time? I was reading some threads and it seems that they are not...
I am going to a show and competing in halter. My question is should I tuck my gelding’s forelock under his halter to the side or leave it in the middle? (His forelock is not thin nor extremely thick.) I have seen both but does putting it to the side tucked have a more appealing look? Appreciate...
