I have been searching everywhere for horse auctions around Wisconsin and Minnesota but can’t seem to find any! I know they are happening but can never find where and when. And ideas where to find horse auctions?

I'm not sure where you are located, but in Waukon, IA there is an auction every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month.

It may be too far, but you just missed one in Macon, Mo. this past weekend. They had 125 head of minis consigned. They have the sale every 3 months.

Edited to add > Whoops you didn't say mini auction. I believe they have a horse auction there every month.

There is a draft horse, pony and horse sale coming up May 18-20 at Princeton, MN put on by the former owners of the sale barn there. They don't have a website but contact info email is [email protected]

Most of the other local sale barns in central MN (Mora, Albany, Pierz, Long Prairie) usually have horse sales at least twice a year. Long Prairie was doing monthly sales over the winter but I'm not sure if they are still doing so or not.
