In eleven years we're running about 52% filly, 48% colt. It does vary from year to year though.

I'm fine regardless of sex way my goal is - healthy>good conformation>sex IMHO!

Fifteen foals total since 2006.

2006-

1 colt

1 filly

2007-

3 colts

1 filly

2008-

2 colts (1 aborted)

2009-

4 colts

2010-

1 colt

2 fillies

2011-

unknown as of yet.

Ok I have had colts coming out of my ears the last few years until just the past couple of years. I had about four or five years in a row with nothing but boys! One year I had four foals due- I just KNEW one of them had to be a filly. Nope! All boys! I am still in shock from last year when I had 1 colt and 3 fillies.

Only have one foal this year here.... and I am not holding my breath that it will be another filly, but I hope so since I have now sold that stallion.

6 fillies and 4 colts. BUT the most interesting fact is that every year that we have more than one foal born, they are all the same sex. 3 fillies one year - it was heaven.

Not counting the ones lost over the years.

31 colts......49 fillies

I haven't kept track of all the years, but here's the last few:

2010: Fillies 5, Colts 1

2009: Fillies 2, Colts 4

2008: Fillies 5, Colts 0

2007: Fillies 2, Colts 5

Hm, I'm sensing a pattern here. If the pattern holds, then this year will be a colt year.
