I think #58 sold for 1750.00, my dial up fading in and out so not 100% sure. Do not know who bought her.

I don't think I want to discuss #5 LOL. I am sure you will be hearing from his proud owner, they are on the forum

I am not sure how it occurred. I did not win the horse. I THOUGHT I DID though.

My auction number was ###. The auction went off and lot#5's sale ended with my $ bid, they announced that bidder ### won.

So I called the auction. I told them who I was, my number and my bid. They confirmed that yes, it was me that won the horse. I was thrilled.They said must be a glich.

Later, I went back to watch the auction and watch the chat board.

A person was on the chat board saying, "did anyone see #5, that is the horse I won!"

Of course, I responded to the chat and said that I was the winner of #5.

I tried to gain that other persons attention on the chat, but no answer. She must have called mare stare already. So I called Mare stare. Was told there had been an error. That two of us had bid the final bid and no one there realized that we both had bid the same exact amount. And oddly our auction numbers were only one number off from each other.

Since they announced ### on the auction, they awarded the horse to HER. Congrats ###.

I am of course disappointed but I understand that errors can be easily made.

What they SHOULD have done is to get you both on the phone and reopen the bidding. I've seen that happen before with live auctions. That way would have been the fairest way. Sorry you lost the horse.

thanks for the support, however, it was a big sale.Lots going on , all at the same time, noise, confusion, busy, busy, busy.

I can't even imagine the work and headache involved in promoting and running something of that proportion.

I understand that mistakes happen even with the best oiled machine. Nobody did it on purpose.

And anyhow... gives me more time to SHOP!!!!You know how I love to SHOP! I will stick to the original plan. He must be homozygous for tobiano, blue eyes, small, double reg. and sweet! I will find my Mr. Right, no worries!

I fell in love with Lot #33 she was the most adorable little thing I ever saw! (all 24" of her) And she was so sweet. Before the sale I got to see her in her stall and she let me pet her and give her a hug!

Unfortunately, all the horses I really liked were just out of my price range.

There was a lot of absolutely AMAZING horses there!
