Trainer/Handler

Would you experienced with placing your horse(s) with a trainer/handler tell me what you would expect from the trainer along the lines of communication, such as updates on training, progress, show results. I'm looking for a timeline that you would feel is acceptable to keep you informed. Would you expect Weekly/ Monthly updates, When would you expect to receive results of a show?? Thanks for your feedback!

My dealing with a trainer/handler was with James Walsh for 2 years. He called me about every 2 weeks or I called him with monthly updates. He would call me after the show or the next day depending on how busy he was at the show. He does sometimes"lose" his phone ha ha ha . . .but over all he does a great job.
