Im just curious how you think Tinky is maturing and what he would be worth if we were too sell him[its a possibility]. Hes 10 months old now! When I string tested him it said he would mature 13.1hh... but hes 12.1/12.2 already. The ST has always worked for me before... so I dont know. Tink hasnt been cut yet. He's a Morgan/Welsh/Pinto Something cross.

Tink has the basics of halter training down... but could still use some work. He's a hyperactive little ******. Every horse hes met has liked him... why? I dont know. Hes the most annoying little thing out there. Lately hes had a cat fetish and is always chasing them... Tinks been to a show, and did great. He had to meet everyone, see everything. Wasnt afraid of a thing. He's had 3 pedicures, with the most recent one being a week ago. He was really good. He stood nicely on the lead, was a bit nervous but we just held/comforted him and the farrier loved him. He can be a pain to catch if he thinks your going to make him do something[as in pedicure], but otherwise is as friendly as can be. With some more groundwork Im sure he'll get over his brattyness quickly.

Tinks dam will be registered with AQPA[Quarter Pony] this spring, he's eligible. His sire was a 14hh sorrel pinto, whom I never saw, but I know people who have. His dam is bay/12.3hh.

I don't know what riding ponies are going for in your area, so I won't try to put a dollar figure on him. He's got a lot going for him though, and I'd be curious to see pictures of him as a 3 year old to see how he matures. I think he'll be worth far more as a gelding than a stallion. I really like his sturdy legs; I can see him packing kids around and holding up well. I also think you'd get more for him if you held on to him for a bit and really started his training; working on obstacles and other ground work. In other words, he hasn't hit his full earning potential yet. Keep us updated!

BTW, that is a gorgeous peacock in the background.

Hes a pretty boy!

I just have to ask though... Is that a Live peacock in the background of the first two picture?! :new_shocked: How the heck did you get him!?

lol yes that is Stumpy one of our peacocks. They actually came with the farm... we were up to 7 for a while, but the coyotes left us w/ 2...

Tink will be gelded. We didnt get a chance before winter set in... as soon as it warms up a bit he's going to have a visit with Shayne[our vet]... lol poor little guy
