Thank you all for your kind works , it was a very hard week and I know my vets & myself did try everything we could to save them.

People in the New England area, if you ever need a incredible, very caring vet /surgeon , call Dr Anne Schwartz of Tri-State Equine Surgical Specialist . She will travel around RI, MASS, CT . I have never met a vet before that cared as much as she did, and try as hard as she did to try to save Squeak and her foal. She was here for hours at a time, and when she wasn't she was calling me and checking in and she was calling other vet to see if they could come up with anything to help and when the time came to end this, she keep apologizing to the mare , that she couldn't done more and keep telling me how great I was for trying and trying to comfort me over my lost. She was called at 11pm and stayed to 2am , talking to us after and try to help us thru all of this. She is wonderful person and vet and I was lucky to meet her.

I haven't been on the forum for a few days and missed the original post. I'm so sorry for your loss.

It is wonderful to have a compassionate vet in your corner when you need them.

Jane - I tried to reply (actually I thought I did) to your other thread but had some problems. Anyway, I am so sorry about Squeaky and the foal. That is every breeder's worst nightmare. I remember Squeaky well - she was a wonderful mare! My heart goes out to you.

Now I'm crying all over again. Jane, I'm so sorry.

Squeaky and her baby couldn't have been in better hands! If only all vets are as wonderful. Now you know about Dr Anne Schwartz and that is Squeaky's gift to you.
