Tall boots

This is horse-related... where do you measure a tall boot from? Is it from the highest part of the spanish cut to the top of the heel, or the lower (inside) part of the spanish cut to the flat part of the boot?

Probably from the heel to the highest point of the top?

I think you measure the back of your leg from the floor to the back of your knee from a sitting position (get a helper). Add about 1.5-2" ...
