The purpose of this thread is to connect people needing transportation to shows and events with those having room in their trailers, with the hope of saving everybody travel expenses.

Posts will be removed after date of show or event.

Please note:

All arrangements, including times, dates, meeting and drop-off locations should be made in writing in advance.

You will need to arrange separately for transportation to and from hotels, etc., while at show. Do not assume anything is understood unless it is aggreed upon in writing!

In the event of any changes in plans or schedule, please contact all parties involved as soon as possible.

Individuals offering rides are responsible for waiver of liability and/or hold harmless forms. All individuals, whether offering or seeking transport, are responsible for checking with their insurance companies regarding liability and coverage.

Starting location: Portland, Oregon / Scappoose, Oregon / Vancouver, WA / I-5, I-205 area

Destination: Evergreen Spectacular, Spanaway, WA

Dates of show: Aug 15-17

Date and time leaving for event: flexible, prefer Aug 14

Date and time returning from event: flexible, prefer Aug 17

Number of horses: 2

Number of people: 2

Size of horses (mini, pony, full size): B mini'Shetland

Do you have a stallion? No. Gelding and filly only

Tack, carts, feed, etc that you will have: No cart, minimal tack/feed

Other pertinent information or considerations: no need for transportation while at show.

Starting location is Logan, Utah

Destination is Tulsa, Oklahoma. We generally go east on I-80 to Nebraska and then go south, with an overnight layover in Nebraska

Dates of show: September 4th thru 13th

Date and time of leaving for event: likely September 2nd

Date returning from event: September 14th

Number of horses we have room for: up to 5

Number of people we have room for: One

Size of horses: mini to small shetland

Can we transport a stallion: yes

Room for tack, feed, cart: minimal room for tack and feed, could haul a cart or two

Other pertinent information or considerations: Our trailer is an aluminum gooseneck with mini sized to small pony sized dividers. Many years experience in driving to Nationals, and main driver has a CDL license. Accomodations (hotel, stalls) would be the responsibility of the rider(s) if needed.

Dates of show: August 7-10

Date and time leaving for event: Aug 6

Date and time returning from event: Either late Sun night or Monday (horse in one of the last classes)

Number of horses: 2 spaces

Number of people: depends

Size of horses (mini, pony, full size): Mini to full

Do you have or can you transport a stallion? yes

If offering a ride, how much equipment/tack do you have room for? cannot take any carts

Other pertinent information or considerations: Leaving Springtown and going north on Rt 51 to Gainesville. Can pick up/meet anywhere along route. $150 round trip.
