Round Bales

We feed round bales. All our bales are stored inside a big morton building, then attached to that morton is another building, that building has a overhang type of cattle shed. We can pick up a round bale with skid loader and drive right into the other building, sit it down and then the horses can come under the overhang shed and have a "fence line" feeder... The bale is inside and we just use a pitchfork and pitch the amount of hay for them. All this is out of the elements.. We have absolutely no waste with our round bales.

Here's our youngest and smallest colt with one of our bales. The mare on the other side is a 40" shetland. This fella should mature around 35-36".
