Wish I was close enough to go, Judy. I know you've worked hard on it. Good luck for a successful sale.

I can't go, but I've seen some of the consignments up close and personal. Niiiiice horses! There will be some bargains there I bet!

Update on Auction -- It was a buyers market, some nice horses went for a real bargain!

If any one is interested I can post the prices.

It was a lot of work but I enjoyed it, even with the last minute problems of my husband hurting his foot and limping around and not being able to handle our horses, my cashier not showing up because of another auction, and my bidder number clerk having to work at the last minute.

I want to thank everyone that jumped in and helped at the last minute.

I am already planning next year's auction!!!

All theses horses where nice, it was a buyers market!

Those are some sad prices. I wish they had sales like that close to where I live.

I agree George, the prices where sad.

There was some real nice show/breeder quality horses there, that was No Sale and I am glad the seller made the decided to No sale them, these little horses where worth alot more.

These buyers got a real bargain!

An owner/breeder puts alot of care, feed, vet expense, training, and grooming into these little horses and they should be worth something more than this.

But I really feel for the big horse people, I hear some of their prices are lower than these.

I also wanted to say that I think they are planning next year to do an all day Mini Fest with seminars, a fun show, Barbeque, etc., before the auction. Hopefully this will help show the value of these little horses and increase their demand.
