I know with miniature horses, they must be 3 years old to compete in performance classes. Can anyone tell me if this is the same for miniature mules?

Thanks :bgrin

At our local shows and the few I've been to out of state, a yearling can compete in the obstacle classes. I think they pretty much follow the same rules as the horses. Drive at 3, jumping at 3, obstacles at 2 as long as there aren't any high jumps.

Thanks for the reply! Is this information anywhere in print? I have been searching online for any rule books, but have no luck so far. :aktion033:

Our group has our own rule book that the members have written. You can check our website at www.rgmda.com. We have used the Oregon Mr. Longears rules before too.

Check www.lovelongears.com too. Leah might have some info on there somewhere! It's a decent website for lots of info.
