I have been taking my mares temperature twice a day for almost a month and it stays in between 99 and 100.8. In the past four days it dropped twice below her norm. 4 days ago it was 98.7 in the AM but then rose by noon to 100.2. Then this morning it was down to 98.6. Now she isn't relaxed in the back end so I don't think she is going to foal. I clipped her belly and around her bag to prepare for the foal but the past few days its been about 25 degrees at night. Would that have anything to do with her temp dropping so low? She seems healthy and happy. Eats like a pig and runs around outside. Any thoughts?
