Many of you have followed ClickMini's (Amy) various exploits and adventures with her beloved minis over the years and I am sure that many of you have benefited from her help with clicker training. What many don't know is that Amy is also rearing her granddaughter and trying to help her daughter work thru her own personal demons and all the while trying to not worry about her son who is serving in Iraq as a "bomb specialist"

. Amy has had a tough year with a major round of kidney stones which landed her in the hospital a couple of months ago -- throughout all her trials and tribulations Amy has always "been there" for any animal in need - especially a horse or pony - and it is not unusual to find Amy bringing home another "project" and devoting countless hours to gain back the trust that has been lost due to neglect or worse.

This past week Amy suffered another really low blow - apparently she has a ruptured disc and is in incredible pain - back and forth from the hospital and ER over the past few days and lots of meds have helped, but of course a ruptured disc will take plenty of time to "heal". Throughout it all Amy has maintained her unflappable cheerful spirit - even thru the tears, she is still the eternal optimist. Many of us could take a lesson from her book - I know that I can for sure.

So if you could spare a little prayer for a speedy recovery to a well deserving forum friend, I am sure she would appreciate it.

I love you Amy - you know that if there is anything you need you can call on me to help,

((( Hugss )))

Sure hope you are soon feeling better Amy, and hoping Santa brings you a little extra special care this year.

I'm so sorry to hear this - Amy, my prayers are with you. I hope you recover speedily and are back to normal in no time! I have several herniated/ruptured discs along with TOS and I feel like I practically live at UCLA Med Center

Do what the docs say and TAKE IT EASY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You will not be able to help your family/animals if you don't take care of yourself first

I know it feels like you will never be ok again but if you can rest and let yourself heal that is the best way to start getting back to as normal as possible.

Oh no! I've chatted with Amy before and she's helped me in the past. She is such a giving lady! Please tell her from me that I hope she gets better SOON! And that my thoughts and prayers are with her.

{{{Hugs}}} to you Amy!!!

I hate to hear this. Amy is the best. I knew Amy had a lot of life challenges and this is just too much. Just the worry about her boy in Iraq is enough to have to live with; just so unfair. I've got a nasty disk in my back myself and believe me, the pain can send you out of your mind. I sure wish I could be there to help nurse her through all this stuff. Amy if you are out there, please please try to rest best you can and get well. Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas Amy, take care of yourself and do what the doctors tell you.

Cathy

Awww this breaks my heart to hear.

I love Amy dearly too even though I have only met her in person one time. She has always been very cheerful and such a wonderful mentor. She has one of the biggest hearts I know. Amy, I am hear if you need to talk whenever... I hope you get to feeling well really soon. Bless your heart

Amy, I know what a back or neck can be like. I have had 2 fusions in my neck. Now I have very angry nerves from the second injury. Then tonight when I am supposed to be cleaning carpets (I gave up on the sofas), I had to go after vacuum bags and I fell. I landed on my wrist that has been hurting for over a month and hit my knee on a brick and my neck and back are going "yeah right". Anyway, I know the pain you are in and I wish you a speedy recovery. I do know of the best spine surgeon and people come from other states to see him if you can get an appointment.

My thoughts and wishes for a speedy recovery and a much lighter load for 2010 for Amy

Take care of yourself

I knew Amy had been diagnosed with Degenerative Joint Disease and some bulging discs in her back, but I hadn't realized she'd been in and out of the ER since I last heard from her. Poor Amy! Crossing my fingers she feels better soon. Back problems are the pits...both my Dad and Kody can attest to that!

Sending healing thoughts your way Amy!

Amy, Amy, Amy -- my back is in agony just thinking of you! I have just the garden variety aching back, but I know that nothing brings you to your knees like back pain!

The bad thing about the stupendous care you give everyone in your human and animal family is that they have a hard time coping when you're not there. Tell them tha this is their turn to take care of you with human and pet therapy.

I have an idea you're an impatient patient like I am, but take your time and do what the doctors say -- you need to heal! Stay in touch and take care!
