So I finally got all of the parts of my cart stained and 4 coats of marine varnish on them. I put them back together and attached my new wooden wheels. I was so excited that I have not built the new seat yet, just used the old one. I took my pony out for a good 1 hour and 30 min drive with my friend. I think I might need new or stronger C springs for it...

The wood wheels with the shafts look great! The cart definitely fits your lovely pony now! Enjoy!

Very eye-catching! Great job.

The ride does tend to get much rougher with wooden wheels, new springs might be a good idea.

That made such a difference!!

Can I make one suggestion.....it looks like the shafts should come down a little, you look as if your tilting back in the seat and not riding level.
