About a 2 months ago I got a steroid shot in my left shoulder. It helped for about 2 weeks and then the pain was back. Since then my shoulder has gotten worse and worse. Now I can only lift my arm about half way and it feels like it is starting to freeze up. I am afraid to go back in because I know he will order a MRI and I am claustrophobic. Just the thought of going into that machine scares the bejeebies out of me!

If you can get one of those toilet seat looking pillows for your neck and use it for a few nights in a row and see if you feel a difference.

Its a minor thing to do but sometimes these can really do wonders if its your neck vertebrae that's affected.

I know 1st hand.

They now have what is called an Open MRI and you are not enclosed You might check into that? If you are having more issues then you need to get back to the doc.
