Need opinions on an email I received to purchase- Scam?

I don't want to post the email here, in case it is legit. It just seems a bit strange to me and I would like others opinions. PM me and I'll send it .

If they are talking about sending you a check and having a shipper come pick the horse up, then it is a scammer. Those come around alot.

I am familar with those scams. This one is not like those. They say that they are in TN.

Edited to say: It seems that everyone thinks that the email is not a scam. thank you all for your help and opinions.
