Need a helping hand

I have purchased a couple of puppies from a lady in Reynolds, Ga. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to help me to check her out and make sure she is lagit before I pay her the remaining money in full. I just get scared that this may be a scam. Smart girl. I sure wish more people would check out where they are getting their animals from. Every time I see some ads I just cringe.

She is southwest of Macon. I checked the mileage from where I am and it was almost 3.5 hours one way. Wish I were closer...
