mini stall bedding

has anyone every used rice hulls for stall bedding? I have tried to find info on rice hulls other places but nothing specific to mini horses and I always try to do what is best for my babies

They are okay. I don't like that they're not super fluffy and not really absorbent.

I've read that they are high in phosphorus if the horse eats a lot of them.

But just a so so bedding to me.
