Mini donk and feed

I have 1 draft cross, three mini, and am looking at a mini donk this weekend. My horses get hay in the morning and then let out to grass in the afternoon- just our summer routine. They are out for about 5 hours on grass. Will this be okay for a mini donk, once it is acclimated to the routine and grass?

Are there any difference in taking care of a donk than a horse? I have been taking care of horses for years and years and years, but the donk will be a new experience.

I don't treat my donkeys any different than the quarter horse that they share their field with.

The only thing is donkeys do not need any grain. I do give them about 2 tablespoons when the horse gets his because they beg

Thanks, I have do not have her yet. I have to write the person back actually, but I figured I have a herd of easy keepers she would fit right in.
