Mare to Big for stallion?

That's what my vet says they will do so it's funny to hear. So does that mean I can breed my 14.3 hh mare to my 30" stallion? I would love that.

I would be scared that the resulting foal would not be able to reach mamas teats and I would be stuck bottle feeding
