Is this wormer safe to feed my minis?

Hello,

I have several horses that are difficult to deworm and I was thinking about using this product, Farnam: Alfalfa Pellet Horse Wormer. Does anyone here know if it is safe for miniatures? Thank you for your time.

i have used it on a large donkey that was hard to catch. But if I remember right the active ingredient is Piperazine phosphate. That is not one of the common dewormers that you here of. I know it is in alot of OTC puppy wormers.

I would consider that to be a safe dewormer but piperazine is not as commonly used as it once was. You might want to try a daily wormer such as Strongid C. It's very effective and safe plus horses eat it willingly.
