Is it worth testing for silver in my stallion?

Hi all

I am selling my boy, but wondered if it is worth testing to see if he is homozygous for silver?

Any help appreciated as I don't know much about colour genetics (as you can probably guess).

Is he the one in your avatar? If so, he looks silver dapple to me...What color are his parents? If both are silver, he could be homozygous...

Sunny is the sire of the one in my avatar (Raffles), he's silver bay. His (my stallion Sunny's) sire is Alvadars Exclusively Double and his dam is a silver bay.

I don't know if Clue(AED)is silver though.

Edited - I just looked him up and he is. So I guess I have answered my own question!

PS Rabbitsfizz, I did laugh at your response - I don't know much about colour genetics but I wouldn't ask if he wasn't silver

Maybe a bit more background from me would have helped!
