What is the surgery called?? I am curious. I tried to have lasik but couldnt cause my cornea is too thin for how much they would have to do the surgery. I have really bad eyesight!!

I have been lucky mine hasnt gotten worse the last couple of years but it would be nice to have to make sure it doesnt...

I don't really know what this surgery is called. I see a retina specialist (seems like weekly at this point). It's not to correct my vision but to stop vessels that have been leaking. I think once the swelling and dilation goes down in my right eye, it will see as well as it did before (and then it will be time to do it on the left eye).

This is totally different than lasik. It won't enhance my vision but just hopefully keep it from getting worse. Now I'm worried by posting this, I've upset or worried people thinking of getting lasik. I don't really know much of anything about lasik, but it is not anything like what I've had done.
