Weww! There's so many to count!

9-stallions (2 in their 20's, 1 w/bad arthritis, and 1 w/low sperm count so that's why there's so many!)

24-broodmares

5- fillies 2 and under

2-colts 2 and under

1-grade quarter horse gelding......for riding and loving!

I think that's it! We just cut back by about 15 too and still have many for sale so we're hoping to get down to about 25-30 total. We'll see!

We have:

2 - stallions

12 - brood mares (2 still to foal)

2 - aged (retired) mares

8 - 2005 foals (2 colts and 6 fillies) all are sold except for 2 fillies and I would just LOVE to keep them!!

2 - boarding mares and

2 - very speciial adopted dwarves, "Treasure" and "Buddy"

I have been "trying" to get down to 20 (my husband's idea) but have decided that is just impossible, but hey, I am close!!!

WWWaaaayyyy too many here.

33 brood mares (almost all AMHR-13 are also foundation shetland & some are also AMHA) several for sale

4 stallions (one AMHA/AMHR--3 AMHR/foundation shetland) one for sale

1-3yr old mare in barn for sale--AMHR/AMHA

2-2yr old mare in barn--one AMHR for sale and one AMHR/Foundation

1-yearling stud--with plans for gelding--for sale AMHR/Foundation

12 geldings of various ages--all AMHR--2 Foundation--a couple for sale

Neat Thread, We have 23 minis. We have one mare left to foal out this year.

We have 10 for SALE. So we can get back towards the 12 mark. We do plan

to sale the new foal to. We are reducing. We just have way to many boys.

Some really good ones, but we only need so many.

We have that we are keeping

5 stallions

5 mares

1 filly to small for anything.. just a little pet

1 donkey

We are selling 10 minis.

3 mares

6 colts/stallions

Not enough, lol.

I have 2 minis and 1 big horse.

1 - 4 Year Old Paint/TB (APHA) Mare

1 - 33.75" 4 year old Miniature Mare

&

1 - 3 Year Old Miniature Gelding

We have:

9 mature mares

1 two year old filly

3 yearling fillies

5 fillies born this year (was going to say "weanlings" but they aren't weaned yet)

3 geldings

3 yearling stallions

All of those are miniatures, and a few of the fillies and one gelding will be for sale.

We also have two big Paint riding geldings.

So we have 26 horses. Just HAD to make me count them, didn't you?

I just love having a herd though, even if it does mean I have to stop and think about just how many there are.

WHEN we move to some acreage, I'll probably get him another gelding for a friend, but I think 2 would be the max. Gotta be able to shower them each with the same amount of lovins
