horse show ribbon quilts

Hi

I would like information for makeing a small quilt with show ribbons. How do prep them for sewing. Any help will be appreciated. Also any easy quilt pattern ideas. I would like to not cut them anymore than I have to. I have read that they can't be washed. Could you iron them on fusable webbing?

I did one for my granddaughter and it turned out pretty good. Here is a picture of one of the squares I did. I got the printable fabric and ran it through my inkjet printer. I did several different picture of her and her horse for the centers. I made it I believe 5 squares wide and 4 squares long and she has it hanging over her window for a curtain. I did use the fusable tape but found I needed to top stitch the ribbons after. I also put a backing on it. Good luck.
