Horse Agility/Halter Obstacle

Anyone do this with their guys?

It looks fun. I'm already into dog agility, and building the obstacles for them, why not trickle down into the horses?

StarPoint miniature horses has some training videos, the trailers look pretty good.

Man, I can hardly wait for next year!

We do a lot of this with our minis, it is a lot of fun. Some have a talent for jumping and others have a knack for navigating obstacles. Creating the obstacles is the fun part. We lay out tarps, tires, outdoor carpet and cones and set up poles, brush boxes and cavaletti, last weekend we got creative with ladders and hulahoops and even a kiddie wading pool. The possibilities are endless with trail/obstacles and the kids love it (I think the horses do too).

ON Target Minis used to be a regular here and her 4H kids participate both in the on-line agility shows (you set them up at your barn - send in the videos) and at other places. She used to have videos, not sure if they are still available.
