I'd sure like to know the prices too. After I got Lot #25 I didn't get anymore prices.

Lot 25 was one I had marked to look at but the day before we were to leave decided a) we really didn't need anymore horses and b) 11 hours was a long way to go just because I was going a bit stir crazy.

Hey Charlotte, I really like the filly you bought!

She's out of my baby Sophie, who's out of my baby Sassy, who was out of my beloved Girly! Oh and sired by Nort LOL!

I was hoping someone who types better than I would type out all the prices!

I knew she was your breeding Robin, but I didn't know she was quite THAT much your breeding.

I gave her a bath and head & neck today and snapped a few pix. Obviously I'm not a photographer!

I have numbers 90 ($300)

and 91 ($300)

Thank you for posting what you have.

I am biased of course,

but she is such a pretty girl. Have not seen a horse with a prettier head/eye than she has. I wish that circumstances hadn't forced me to sell her, but I am HAPPY that she is with you! I can't wait to see pics of her as a yearling next year!

Oh yes indeedy!

Since I couldn't buy her myself, I'm proud that you did! I know Jules is glad as well! I would LOVE to see pics of her if/when you get more.

Pretty please!

Never fear. there will be more pix next year for sure.

Rainey is a sweetie as well as beautiful.

Thanks Julie & Robin for your parts in her creation.

My hubby picked out #56, and he got a steal, she is an awesome mare, love her, Bred to Little Kings Buckeroo Zodiac too. First one hubby has ever bought on his own, well my girlfriend did have to help him by bidding for him since she was there and we were not. Probably good thing we weren't, cheap prices, probably would have came home with a trailer load.Poor little mare was shivering this morn, Texas to Nebraska, she is cold, may have to blanket her.

Sure wish I was closer... then maybe not... but I always have to pay for my precious finds....would be nice to get one at a steal!!!!

When horses are out there for prices like that... how in the world do you sell them off the farm???

That is a very good question!! The past 2 years we've been slowly trying to cut back. It is hard to do. The strange part is, the ones I want to keep and put a high price on (if anyone inquires) are the ones that are selling

I may just need to take everyone off the sales list, that might help LOL. I've had a good bit of success with selling to youth as well. Two days ago we had a couple stop by to look for horses for their girls to show. They go to Nationals every year so they got a weanling filly for 1/2 off with the deal that they take 2 other horses to winter, train, and show. My favorite type of deal! Can't wait to see my babies in the show ring next year.

REALLY glad my grandparents keep me away from the auctions. I'd be giving the puppy dog eyes a lot.

We certainly have not had much luck selling off the farm, but we are a small breeder so we have been concentrating on improving our herd so we can produce top quality show babies on a small scale for our own use and hopefully a few sales. Just seems like a great time to buy. Have also been concentrating on getting rid of what we are not or will not be showing or using ourselves.
