A Yankee In NC
Well-Known Member
I am so happy to introduce my new equine friend!
I got Stuart ( my very first mini/horse ever) in Feb of this year and he has been alone until this week.
Wednesday the new guy arrived and they have been separated by a hot wire fence until today, Sunday.
Cocoa, as he was called (i am renaming him Joe) came from a pretty bad situation. My neighbor got him from someone who was not able to feed him well. Billie, my neighbor, took him and had him for a few weeks before I met him. She dewormed him, got his feet trimmed and started him on a hearty diet.
He has done very well in her care and now has come home to us.
Stuart is beside himself with joy at his new pasture mate. He is learing a tough lesson in not bothering Joe too much...ie...getting kicked a bit....but they are doing very well.
So, without further ado........I introduce to you.................Joe Pony!
this clip is just about 20 minutes into their introduction.
