Teddy, my dwarf is four years old today! (I know, I know. A dwarf....)
Teddy was born Saturday April 28th, 2007 at 5:00pm AND 7:00pm. Yep, he was born twice.
You see, Teddy's dam went into labor around 5pm. My parents were gone on their Harley across the state, and the vet was fishing. So, I was home alone with my older brother with nobody to call. Teddy's dam was in active labor for two hours before my parents arrived home. The only reason little Teddy was alive was the fact that during the entire time his nose was out, and he was breathing good ol' Iowa spring time air. My parent's arrived home and my dad delivered him. Let's just say I had since shunned the Harley.
Teddy, was SUCH a goober when he was a baby. After weaning time he mellowed down, considerably.
It wasn't until this year, after starting him on Purina's Strategy that we discovered that our goober of a boy had a personality. Now, he will race the yearlings across the pasture at a full sprint with his tail in the air!
So, I would love to introduce my boy, Teddy.
Oh, and just so you know, 3 legged leg warmers are in this year.
And as a foal:
You can see my FB album for him here: http://www.facebook.com/media/set/fbx/?set=a.104959029590648.15484.100002296543466&l=659bfa2864
