Fitting Guide

Hello- is there a guide you can recommend for proper fit and placement when it comes to harness and cart? It’s been several years since I have driven and have a new horse. I have been riding my quarter horses and there seems to be a million resources on proper fitting saddles (how, where is should sit, what to look for in ill fitting tack) but not having the same luck for harness.

@Aidansmama , what kind of driving will you be doing with the new horse? Is it a mini?
I'm currently in the process of having custom harness 2 and 3 fabricated for my critters. I've found that the minis and ponies just do better with a custom harness. There's so much variation in sizing and measurements from one animal to the next, it's hard to make commercially-available equipment fit.

A properly fitting headstall and bit are the most important, IMO.
