My dad is a farrier and charges $25.00 for big horses and $65.00to shoe and than i think he only charges like $15 for minis...I have to book a appointment about 2 weeks in advance to get an appointment cause he is so booked!lol...

I always used to trim my own horses....until just a year or so ago, when I decided my back needed some help!

I started using a farrier that my friend uses every other trim. He charged $35 for the first horse & $25 for every additional one. But just recently, I found a great "barefoot" trimmer. I love the way she trims my minis, AND my POAs hooves, and the best thing about her, is that she only charges $10.00 per mini!
