Well my ONLY time to have my horse choke was on beet pulp. I guess I have been lucky. I am like so many others. Better to be safe than sorry.
It may be because the horse eats faster or takes bigger bites. But that isn't something I can control. I can soak or wet the beet pulp though. And frankly I think it is more palitable anyway.
