I have dial up and couldn't watch, and I went last year, but couldn't afford to travel the 10 hours this year. Did anyone watch or go? If so How were the prices this year. I'm hoping prices, selling prices that is is going up. Any comments?

It was an awesome sale and great buys and beautiful horses. Our power went off while it was being broadcast so I can't comment on all the horses but the ones I saw were amazing buys. I managed to get my favorite mare so I was happy.

Just rena, thanks for the link, but I've been visiting it all day, and no prices are posted, maybe it's just my dial up. Thank you though.

Maybe someone who saw the entire show can tell you if the prices picked up but in the beginning, the horses were going for amazing buys and not what you'd expect for such lovely horses.

Thanks Mountain woman, the prices were way down last year, and I picked up an excellent colt for a give away price. Just wiah prices could come up here in the east, can't seem to sell anything even at give away prices. Guess I'll just be patient maybe someone went or watched and can help out with the prices.

You bought a mare Sara? Which one?

Thank you for posting, I think these prices were a little better then last year, but I thought #38 was an awesome guy, sorry he didn't bring more as it lokked like he was also trained to drive.

You lucky buyers, congrats, I could have bought 20 horses for what I paid for one horse I purchased in the 1980's and 1990's. Buyers sale yes, breeders tough go. I stopped breeding 10 years ago..............there was a tiny buckskin mare I would have loved to have from my knowing her show history, she would have been only a pet for me,, but such a beauty just to enjoy.

Lot #50 was a no sale because I purchased her after auction had ended thanks to a power outage due to a snow storm.

It's a shame the prices were really low for the sellers, as the consignment is 200, then the coggins, health papers, registration, training, clipping, facials, travel time, gas, lodging, the cost goes on and on. This why I'm no longer breeding. It seems the breeders can't even make a pay check these days and not worth the time or trouble to go on. I do think prices are better overseas and in Canada, and even on the west, but they are aweful here in the east.

RiverRose, it is a shame. Hopefully things will turn around at some point. There were some awesome horses at that sale and they should have commanded much higher prices.

I bought lot #55 which was Double B Farms Echos Delight and her brand new filly by Reeces Genesis. She was born at the sale and looks to be black with a huge snip, like she dunked her nose in a glass of milk

I don't even know what color eyes she has yet! So excited to get them home! The pictures aren't the greatest but I will share anyways

I am told the filly was not even 24 hours old in the photos.

Sara I love your little girl, so pretty! Everyone else who bought something should share!
