My grandmother is looking for an all around type book about minis, like an a-z type book. Any recommendations?

There was a topic a while ago about a great book, but the name escapes me. However, someone said there was a copy of the book on the relief auction on line sale for the CHapmans.

Now out of print but there are a few around Miniature Horses Their Care Feeding and Coat Colors author Barbara Naviaux excellent book and published and distributed by our own forum member Joanne of Pacific Pintos I gave many copies to newbies when they purchased a Mini from me.I'm a book nut and I still read and refer to it often.I'm down to my last 3 copies I guess I will sell 2 and keep only 1 for myself.Great book and nice gift idea.

Its well worth it.

There are a few other titles specific to minis, but Barbara's book is the mini horse bible.

I also have the mini horse vet book; http://www.amazon.com/Miniature-Horses-Veterinary-Owners-Breeders/dp/1570763984 Looks like a new addition, or at least a new cover pic from the copy I have.

I don't have it, but this one looks promising: http://www.amazon.com/Manual-Owners-Revised-Updated-Minature/dp/1887932968/ref=pd_bxgy_b_img_z/179-1170575-3463732

Donna's book is good: http://www.amazon.com/The-Book-Miniature-Horses-Breeding/dp/1599210770/ref=pd_sim_b_4

And, Kay's book is excellent for conformation: http://www.amazon.com/Miniature-Horse-Conformation-Avoid-Photo/dp/1887932283/ref=pd_sim_b_14
