We've never had this much trouble with birds in our barn, but MAN, this year is an exception. We have lots of birds, and their droppings. Any suggestions on how to keep them out?

Thanks and Happy New Year!

Cheryl

We always hung those blow up snakes hanging from rafters, and blow up barn owls in our hanger to keep them away from our airplane.

Haven't had the problem in the horse barn yet, knock on wood

We hung blank CDs from the rafters down the aisleway and in the stalls by using fishing line. What happens is the CDs reflect light and colors and keeps the birds from nesting. They may still come in to pick up food on the ground but we have none in the rafters anymore overnight.

Darn.... as soon as I saw the title of the thread.. I was screaming ... CAT! and I got beaten to it... How about several cats!!!! We put screens in our loft, so that birds can't get int. So ... no one else suggested it.. how about screens????

God Bless,

Lynn W

Happy New Year!
