I know Jackie Tyler lists a foal out of JJs painted Bear. Alot of the JJ horses were what started the Wauk A Way herd.

J-J's Painted Bear is currently owned by Joan Olson of The Hitchin' Post in Volga, South Dakota. Wink's New Dawn is also owned by Joan and her family and is the dam of Dr. Tom Taylor's herdsire H.P. Jericho's New Image (bred by Joan Olson and family). Don Rudeen owned Painted Bear for a couple of years.

I took a few pictures of Dawn when I was out at Joan's a few years ago.

Thanks. I was looking at tradeing for a filly out of theses guys but the filly was not the quality that I wanted. Could of been the poor condition of the horses, but also found out that the current owners of her never even paid for her so ran past that one fast!
