You will do fine. I'm a 2x breast cancer survivor. The first was back in 1997 and the second was in 2006. My oncologist was beyond shocked that I had another diagnosis at almost 10 years out. The two tumors were not related--first was a solid tumor in the breast tissue the second one was a ductual. She told me right after my first surgery if I had a recurrance it would be a bone.

Well I went through some very drastic treatment back in 1997 but I'm still here (was 43 at the time with one 3 mo old granddaughter). I had 17 of 21 lymph nodes involved with the first bout and the treatment I received back then is no longer ever offered today--that is how far they have come.

I had a mastectomy both times w/chemo. It is now 16 years from the first surgery and 7.5 from the second and will soon celebrate my 60th birthday and have a total of 7 grandchildren and a great-granddaughter who is 3.

I wear prosthetics also--nice thing is I can make them any size I want too

and if one of the horses decides to bite me in the chest--it sure wouldn't hurt
